Founded in 1875, the Bavarian Beneficial Society served families of Cincinnati's German community during times of sickness and death. Four volumes of records include membership rolls (listing name, age, occupation, and address), names of officers and trustees, obituaries of deceased members, and reports of the Illness Committee which lists name, age, and address of the individual who was served.
